We'll visit the town with its artistic and historical content. Xàtiva was settled during Iberian times, although its heyday was during the Middle Ages. The city is also renowned for being the birthplace of the Borgia popes (Calixtus III and Alexander VI), and painter José de Ribera, El Españoleto. We'll take in the castle, dating from Iberian times up to the 19thC.
It's not necessary to sign up for this activity.
We will meet at the Av. Aragon, Mestalla soccer stadium at 10:30 a.m. and we will be back in Valencia around 5:30 p.m.
