Students with a schedule conflict will have priority in add-drop only during the Assessment Period on the semester calendar.\u00a0<\/p><p>3. <strong>All course changes must first be approved and finally confirmed by the Academic Director, Dra. Mar\u00eda Andr\u00e9s<\/strong>. <a href=\"mailto:maria.andres@uvavalencia.org\">maria.andres@uvavalencia.org<\/a> . Admission to any class must have his final signature.<\/p><p lang=\"en-GB\" align=\"JUSTIFY\"><strong>DEADLINES FOR TIMELY WITHDRAWAL FROM A COURSE AFTER ADD-DROP<\/strong><\/p><p lang=\"en-GB\" align=\"JUSTIFY\">A student wishing to withdraw from a course after the add-drop period for the term, must express this is writing to the Academic Director.<\/p><p lang=\"en-GB\" align=\"JUSTIFY\">In winter terms, this deadline will be 30 calendar days before the end of the class period, excluding the final exam.<\/p><p lang=\"en-GB\" align=\"JUSTIFY\">In summer sessions, the deadline will be at 3p.m. on the second day after the midterm exam.<\/p><p lang=\"en-GB\" align=\"JUSTIFY\">The transcript in these cases will show \u201cW\u201d as the grade for the course.
